Anderson Cooper Interview
This is an extended interview that Beck did on his own show about his own book, but someone was clever enough to put Anderson Cooper in charge of it. At times it’s awkward, most of the time it’s funny, and there are plenty of examples of just how big of a tool Glenn Beck is. Having said that, it’s a very interesting bit of insight into what makes him tick. This is the first time Beck has looked like a human being with real problems, and Cooper does a wonderful job throughout the interview.
This is how all interviews with tools like Beck should go. Instead of making him look like the hero he isn’t or the demon he also isn’t, we get a relatively balanced and surprisingly honest view at someone that we still believe is a tool. In fact, we bet that you’ll actually come to like him a little more after watching this. You won’t like him…it’s just harder to hate him. And we believe it’s important provide a bit of perspective even for a jackass like Beck.
